Jeremy Pace
Lead Pastor, Elder
Jeremy and Deedra met and were married while serving at local churches, and were blessed with twins (Cohen & Lily) while living in Seattle, WA. Though not born in Texas, they made sure the twins were able to call the Lone Star State home as soon as possible! The Paces return also marked the beginning of Christ City Church.
Jeremy has served in various leadership roles within a variety of organizations, including The Village Church, the Acts 29 Network, Mars Hill Church, and Redeemer Seminary. He enjoys good books and movies, hunting, playing Liverpool rummy with the family, and most of all, knowing Jesus.
Chaz Holsomback
Worship/Teaching Pastor, Elder
Chaz is married to Amber and they have a *gasp* teenage daughter named Breanna. Their family has called Christ City Church home since 2014 and for most of that time Chaz has been involved in leadership and pastoral ministry in various capacities.
Chaz enjoys rock and roll, philosophy, and Jesus. He is currently finishing a PhD in Philosophy at the University of Dallas. Sometimes he writes (bad) poetry and makes music.
Christ City Kids Team
They say it takes a village to raise a child, and this crew are the ones who help us help one another raise up our littlest to know and love Jesus. They have decades of experience and passion for cultivating secure, fun, and shaping environments for our kiddos at the Gatherings, and walking with parents as we “raise up a child in the way they should go.”
Kyler Davis
Associate Minister and Missionary
Kyler has been engaged in cross cultural ministry since 2008. Except for times spent abroad, Kyler has been living and actively ministering in Vickery Meadows since 2011 where he is currently developing a house of prayer: VHOP.
Kyler loves Jesus, nature, prayer, refugees, worship, outcast and outliers, and has been known to use skateboarding with Chaz as an excuse to talk philosophy with a fellow contemplator.
Ryan Kernes
Elder
Ryan met his wife Tina in grad school at the University of Illinois right around the same time he met Jesus. They were married in 2013 and moved to Dallas 6 months later. Their son Kellen was born in 2018 and daughter Addison was born in 2020.
Ryan works as a railroad track sales engineer and loves to volunteer with the Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) ministry. He enjoys being outside, cooking for family and friends, football, bear hugs, strength training, and eating good food.
Dylan Fitzgerald
Pastoral Resident
Dylan and Alyson both attended the same high school but did not meet until attending college at Texas A&M University. After graduating in 2020, they both moved back to the DFW area, becoming a part of Christ City in 2021, and getting married in July of 2022.
Dylan enjoys cooking, watching movies (Alyson and Dylan’s favorite movie is “Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind”), reading, running (“enjoys” may be the wrong word for this), and watching football and basketball, even when Texas A&M inevitably lets him down.
Angel Crow
Ministry Intern
Angel is a current student at Dallas Theological Seminary working on her Master's degree in Christian Education with a focus on Spiritual Formation. Angel has served in various areas of church ministry, as well as serving as a missionary in Athens, Greece, working with the Roma-Gypsy population. Angel has a heart for those who have walked through trauma, desiring to lead them toward Jesus and spiritual formation.
When not studying or writing papers, Angel likes to spend her free time traveling, watching good movies, and spending time with friends and family. Her most favorite role is that of "Bestie" to her two beautiful nieces.
